Dr. McGrath

Dr. McGrath is a lifelong resident of Hamilton County. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University, and his Doctor of

Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1996. Dr. McGrath and his wife opened CrossRoads Dentistry 20 years ago with the hopes of building a patient base of friends. Dr. McGrath and his wife, Hedy have 2 children, Nick and Macy. Dr. McGrath enjoys traveling and working on projects around the house. 

Hedy McGrath

Office Manager

Hedy grew up in Indianapolis and has lived in Fishers with her husband, Dan, and their two children for over 20 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana University and enjoyed 18 years teaching in Noblesville and Hamilton Southeastern School Districts. Taking a short break from teaching, she helped open CrossRoads Dentistry and since retiring from teaching has come back to work alongside her husband. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys shopping – a lot – and crafting and DYI-ing her home and the office.

Jolene Butler

Dental Assistant/Front Office

Jolene grew up in Fairmount, Indiana and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry as an expanded functions dental assistant in 2005. She has been Dr. McGrath’s ‘right-hand lady’ for over 12 years and spends mornings at the front desk. Jolene and her husband, Nick have 2 sons, Sawyer and Hudson. Jolene enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, being outdoors, and help with her husband’s woodworking business. 

Ali Thacker

Hygienist

Allison grew up in Hillsboro, Indiana. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and received her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Allison has been with us for 16 years and also teaches dental hygiene at Ivy Tech in Anderson. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and daughter Kate, traveling, and shopping.  

Emily Morris

Hygienist

Emily grew up in Pendleton, Indiana and now lives on her own apple orchard in Anderson. She graduated from IU School of Dentistry with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in dental Hygiene. Recently engaged to her high school sweetheart, when not in the office you will find her planning her wedding, making apple deserts, or watching a Cubs game. 

Sarah Pyle

Dental Assistant

Sarah grew up in Alexandria, Indiana, and graduated from Ivy Tech in 2014 as an expanded-duty dental assistant. After graduation, she headed south to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and practiced in the warmth for a while before heading back to Indiana and her family. When she’s not in the office, Sarah stays very active with workouts at Orange Theory and running marathons. She also loves to travel, especially going back to the beach.

Cesar Chaparro

Hygienist

Cesar grew up in Noblesville, Indiana. He is a new graduate of Ivy Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and also has a Master’s in Biology from Ball State University. When he’s out of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their one-year-old son, Atlas. Cesar enjoys spending time with family and playing board games, and Dr. McGrath enjoys having the extra testosterone in the office.
